主講人介紹：周展，博士、二級(jí)教授、博士生導(dǎo)師，廣州市“優(yōu)秀專(zhuān)家”。現(xiàn)任廣州大學(xué)應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)研究中心執(zhí)行主任。 1985年7月畢業(yè)于湘潭大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系獲學(xué)士學(xué)位，1988年7月畢業(yè)于湖南大學(xué)應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)獲碩士學(xué)位并留校任教，1998年6月獲湖南大學(xué)應(yīng)用數(shù)學(xué)專(zhuān)業(yè)博士學(xué)位。1999年6月破格晉升為教授，2003年12月被遴選為博士生導(dǎo)師。受?chē)?guó)家留學(xué)基金委資助，2000年9月前往加拿大訪問(wèn)一年。2004年10月被引進(jìn)到廣州大學(xué)工作，2011年7月應(yīng)邀在香港城市大學(xué)訪問(wèn)1個(gè)月，2014年7月-8月應(yīng)邀訪問(wèn)加拿大羅瑞爾大學(xué)、西安大略大學(xué)、新布倫瑞克大學(xué)。 先后主持國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金7項(xiàng)、教育部?jī)?yōu)秀青年教師資助計(jì)劃、高等學(xué)校博士點(diǎn)基金等科研項(xiàng)目多項(xiàng)。近年來(lái)在《J. Differential Equations》、《J. Dynam. Diff. Eqn.》、《J. Geom. Anal.》、《Nonlinearity》、《Physica D》和《中國(guó)科學(xué)》(英文版)等重要刊物發(fā)表高水平科研論文100多篇，先后獲得廣東省自然科學(xué)一等獎(jiǎng)(第三)、湖南省科技進(jìn)步一等獎(jiǎng)(第五)、湖南省自然科學(xué)優(yōu)秀論文一等獎(jiǎng)、第五屆“秦元?jiǎng)讛?shù)學(xué)獎(jiǎng)”等獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。

內(nèi)容介紹：In this talk, we will introduce some progress on the positive solutions for some nonlinear discrete Dirichlet boundary value problems involving the mean curvature operator by using critical point theory. First, some sufficient conditions on the existence of infinitely many positive solutions are given. We show that, the suitable oscillating behavior of the nonlinear term near at the origin and at infinity will lead to the existence of a sequence of pairwise distinct nontrivial positive solutions. Then, the existence of at least two positive solutions is established when the nonlinear term is not oscillatory both at the origin and at infinity. Examples are also given to illustrate our main results at last.
